Independence Day
Bhavan’s Newsprint Vidyalaya, Velloor celebrated Independence Day with great patriotic fervour and enthusiasm. The programme commenced with Vande Mataram, followed by the invocation, National Pledge, hoisting of the National Flag by the Principal Smt. Sreedevi, salute to the Tricolour, National Anthem and the NCC Song.
The celebration highlighted India’s rich cultural heritage through various programmes. The Welcome Address was followed by an inspiring address by the Chief Guest, Shri Saleen Mohan, Master Chief Officer, Indian Coast Guard, Kochi. The Principal’s Message further emphasised the values of patriotism, unity and responsible citizenship.
